So I got my hands on a beautiful BV7 MK5 and after using it a bit some questions have popped up and I hope you can help:
As most of you know, the stand is capable of having some programmed positions when watching tv, listening to music and when in standby. Playing with this has left me a bit in the dark:
If using the hidden button stand on the Beo4, I haven't been able to return to the "normal" tv position unless hitting standby and turn on tv again - isn't it possible to get back to the programmed stand position otherwise?
I'm also having trouble to get radio position and standby position to be different - it seems no matter what the tv uses the standby position even in radio mode - any ideas? TV position works without any problems.
Is it possible to get the tv to show the clock all the time when playing radio - it would make more sense to me to have the time shown instead of the source (audio mode only).
Otherwise it is one hell of a TV and I'm please with the investment :-)
Many thanks in advance!
Lars
Hi Räuber
Regarding 2: my setting is speaker 2 for audio and I have 2 beolab 8000 as front, 2 beolab 6000 as rear, beolab 7.4 as center and a beolab 2 connected to the tv. When playing audio the 8000 and sub are playing.
Video is standard at speaker 3
Thanks for the other answers, I will try them.

Brilliant - everything worked like a charm :-)
Many thanks!
can you not find the stand option in list and use numbers 1&2 to move it back your preset positions??
Raeuber:3. You can show the clock of your BV 7-40 all the time by changing a setting in the customer service menu: Press MENU on Beo4 Mark OPTIONS Press Red Go Select ADJUSTMENTS Set CLOCK TIMEOUT to 0 Press Go to store this setting and then EXIT to quit this menu With this setting the clock is shown all the time, but you have to call the clock first after turning on the TV by pressing CLOCK on Beo4 (via LIST).

Press Red Go
Select ADJUSTMENTS
Set CLOCK TIMEOUT to 0
Press Go to store this setting and then EXIT to quit this menu

Dear Räuber and other beoworlders, long time ago you posted this solution to the clock being in the top right corner all the time, but for my BV7-40 MK5 this does not work as I do not have the menu as you suggested there. I can go into the service menu with 0 0 GO, but no clock settings. Any BV7-40 users that can point me in the right direction? Cheers!
