BeoLab 3500 without Beo4 or Beolink 1000 remote

Hi - I have a cable to connect a BeoSound 3500 to my TV.....the only problem is that I don't have any remote control. I have heard that Universal Remotes do not work on the 3500. Is there any work around without using the Beo4 or Beolink 1000 remotes ?

Hi 

You mean BeoLab 3500 link speaker connected to Non-B&O TV ? 

Connected via special minijack to Powerlink/MCL cable ?

You'll need a B&O remote to turn it on !
