Hello, I'm the proud new owner of a BS Edge.

I have some questions regarding the bass port. I decided to observe it as I can hear a 'mechanical noise' when I switch the Edge on or when increasing the sound level...

Is it normal to hear it opening or closing (light 'bzzzzz noise')?

When I start the Edge the bass port closes. I noticed that its movement is more slow when 'waking up from standby' (and the noise is slightly different as well) than when it normally opens - closes while music is playing. When getting in standby, it opens again and  the movement is more slow as well. Is this the normal behavior?

Thank you for your help.

Yes, what you've described above is exactly the same as my beosound edge. So it should be normal.
