I purchased my B & O Beogram 2400 turntable 43 years ago and it has finally reached the point where it needs some maintenance. Specifically, it needs a new cartridge. I'm hoping someone on the forum can direct me to a post that explains what B & O cartridges I can use with my turntable. My research efforts have only served to confuse me. Additionally, I'm open to any suggestions pertaining to possible suppliers. Thank you.

You might try Soundsmith for the information:

You might also consider refurbishing your existing cartridge. You can get the cartridge examined and then decide whether to replace with a, say, Soundsmith cartridge, refurbish it to the same specification or to refurbish and upgrade (for example, the stylus tip).
There are posts that deal with cartridge repair on the forum - search "MMC4" for example.
If you do send off your existing cartridge, ensure that is is fully tracked and insured for loss by your selected carrier.
For a more modern, brighter sound, I’d recommend Soundsmith. You won’t have to raise the amp’s treble!
Re-tip if you want the original soft, mellow sound. Depress the loudness button!
