Hi All,
I picked up my first bit of vintage B&O gear last night which consists of a Beocenter 3300 and a pair of s45-2 with stands. I've noticed I have a little bit of a thud/muddy sound under heavy bass coming from one of the lower woofer speakers. I did try reversing the cable as they are un-marked but they sounded the same.
On further inspection, it appears the woofer is coming away a little bit from the rubber surround like. the glue just doesn't want to stick after 40 years of hanging on. Is there a fix around such as being able to glue these back together?
I'm looking forward to seeing what works in the Beocenter as it hasn't been fired up for the best part of 20yrs.
Thanks
