The Economist thinks the Dane's are taking over the world in their book review of 'How to be Danish.'

But the stated view of where B&O has gone is not too flattering in one reader's comments down the page.......

"The 60 - 70's had put Denmark on the world stage again via the cultural explosion of Danish furniture, design & architectural products but it all seemed to have run out of puff. Bang & Olufsen was just "repackaged Phillips gear", grudgingly still purchased & put in pride of place. This view seemed to permeate Denmark. Self critical & lacking in energy."

To be honest to some extent it was re-packed something, and still is.

Too long to list....

I love being from a Danish (and dutch) family and although their products may be made from others to their specification. How was this different to the Japs who copied everything at a point in time and now the Koreans do?

How to become more Danish: eat guf on your ice cream !
