I just opened up a Beomaster 6000 Quad and made a big mistake. I wanted to access the volume control and thought I could remove the bottom plate. Turns out the one screw I took off before second guessing my method was the screw that holds a pulley for the tuner. Needless to say, the cord is now unwound.
Does anyone have a diagram for how to rewind this? It is still fairly taut but I don't know how to wrap the cord around the pulley.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
On another note, the volume control is now working well.
Welcome to Beoworld !
The dial cord mounting diagram is on page 6-2 in the service manual, available for download fromour main website for silver and gold members (well worth the small membership fee!).

Thanks for the tip. I have a feeling I'll just leave it and let the next person who gets it deal with it. I bought this as part of a package deal and I'm yet to get attached to it. Hopefully someone will be able to love it and put it back into use.
Hi!
I would love to have that one. What would the price be?
Chris
Hi Chris,
Not sure how to do private messaging. I think the shipping to Germany would be very high.
That's depending upon your residence...
Canada
I see, that's a pity! From Germany to Canada it's 68 € (= 91 Can$), the other direction must be nearly the same, that's really much money.
Hopefully, you find another lucky person
Thank you for your interest. I know this receiver would be appreciated by someone.
