Hello gents

I have two beogram 1900's and have just completed refurbishing one of them.

The other 1900 I originally bought as spares as it has no armwand.

After thinking a bit about the situation, I decided the deck was in too good a condition to just sit in a rack and deteriorate further.

I'm going to try and fabricate a replacement armwand from a length of thin wall magnesium alloy tube.

I would like to keep the wand weight including the counterweight the same as the original wand and the plan is to retain all of the arm's original auto functions.

Would anyone perhaps have a wand with or without its counterweight and be able to weigh it for me please?

I will post some pics when the job is underway.

Regards

dauphine
