The A3 is still on sale at certain retailers and Liverpool apparently still have stocks at £225. However, John Lewis, having stocked the A3 at full price, now seem to have dropped it altogether and only show the A8 and A9 on their website.
The official Beoplay website is still selling the A3 at the full price.
If you've got an iPad with a non-lightning connector then this may be your last chance for a discounted A3 purchase. The improvement over the iPad speaker and the portability make it a bargain (as long as you have a safe flat surface to stand it on!) I actually use it more often than not as a laptop type holder when I don't want to wear earphones.
