I struggle with the frame color option on my Bv10-46 i vill order next week.

I have today Black BL8000 in the opposit direction of the room, and white floors and walls. The overall colors are nature and purple curtains. Look at the picture and you can have a hint of our livingroom.

I like the Black frame because it is more rare and elegant i think, but i my look like the average Panasosic or Sony LCD;(?

The Silver frame blend in easy inte room, but are very comon in every home and look kind of to shiny perhaps with white cloth fret.

What do you guys think!?

Please help me to decide!

/ Fredrik

I'd say black, because the screen will be black anyway when it's turned off.  But then again, I really like black.

I'd say silver as in my opinion metal should look like that, metal. Too bad it's a shiny surface as I would prefer matt. The black doesn't float my boat.

Mine is silver framed, it blends in with the wall. And it is the natural color of the metal. I think that metal/silver will be the best for years to come, I think it is easier to get tired of black..

Go for silver - it will be easier to sell in a couple of years Smile

If your thinking of getting some Beolab 11 speakers to match remember they come in white and silver(not that the beovision 10/11 range came in white)

The colors in the rest of the room..

I like the black, and my second half likes the silver frame more.

I have a similar colour scheme, and am about to get a white fret to replace the red one, on my 10-46. I will post a photo for you to compare when i get it.Yes - thumbs up

Had this dilemma with my BV11. Went for silver with a white fret. Didn't like the three different blacks together.... Screen, screen surround, and frame. The silver provides a nice framing to the black glass.

The white fret is interesting. Under some lighting conditions it seems brilliant white, but in daylight it can look an attractive  grey in comparison with white walls.

Silver all the way. I replaced some older silver Lab 6000s with newer black ones, and I miss them.

I chose silver with white frets for my BV11. I think it's gorgeus

Same here, and apparently I was the first customer from Hong Kong to order the white cover. The SA didn't even have a SKU for it on his computer. Looks really nice in my bedroom.

Millemissen:

haha! No,no,  it is not for the dog;) It's only a white sheet for cover the divan. This was the day before i celebrated my 30 year birthday party, so we had to cover it up a little for all the drinks and red wine;)

I think i have two solutions and the first one is Black frame with dark grey front cloth, and my girlfriends choice is silver frame with dark grey or white front cloth.

I think i have to throw a coin or somthing!;)

Keep post your thoughts guys!

Trying to post pics but in the mean time, don't get a black TV with a white fret. Just doesn't work.
