I row alot when the water isn't solid as it is currently, and after my bad luck with the now labeled "earphones" (I think they were called A8 back then), and having tried quite a lot of "normal" small earphones, and numerous waterproof earphones, which all fall out of my ears, I figured it was time to try something again. I'm too afraid to use my Etymotic ER-4 on the water, so had to look for something else.
I have ordered some with a frame that goes over the ear. They are in-ears and waterproof, so everything should be A-okay for a weekend out rowing and for everyday rowing.
Anyway, the reason I post about it here, is that I think they're pretty. So pretty, in fact, that I think they're B&O worthy when it comes to the design. I think that when they arrive, they will be made from glorious plastic, but I think they will suit me perfectly.
Here's a picture - the model is called XBA-S65 and is available in black (as the picture) or white. I ordered the black, obviously:
Very attractive, Sony has done some elegant designs in the past, particularly for their mobile stuff. Often marred though by the branding in large friendly letters, but that will always be there even on some B&O stuff.
I had a pair of their ear buds that came with my original, higher end Walkman (how's that for longevity). I should say have a pair, they still work fine, and are more comfortable than most modern buds. Not as sexy as these, but I can't complain about durability since I got them in the mid 80's.

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.
