Hi,

I'm currently working on a new project, where I want to use some older components like Beolink Video or MCL2AV.

BeoLink Video has an input socket labeled as Audio.Aux. The socket accepts input data on pin 6.

ML Handbook (Pg. 24) describes the use of BeoLink Video as a link between older TVs (MX), where the TV is connected via 7 pin DIN cable to the Audio Aux socket.

The MCL Handbook (pg. 3) describes the connection between a TV set and MCL2AV as datalink connection. Pin 6 is data ground, Pin 7 is data.

Does this mean that a TV set, that can be used as MCL link device using MCL2AV cannot be used with a Beolink Video in a ML system as link TV?

Is this asumption is correct, can this be solved by simply connecting the correct pins TV (7->6) BL Video?

I'll be thankful for any information.
