Some advice please. My beocord was moved to another room I plugged it in and heard the normal click of the mechanism engaging then came to use it a couple of hours later and it was completely dead. No power no lights etc.
Obviously changed the plug and fuse I then checked the internal fuse nest to the motor and it appears ok?
Any advice gratefully received as always
I would hazard a guess of cracked solder joint from the move. Will need tracing. Obviously could be a component failure in the power supply but let's hope it is simply a cheap fix! Change in temperature could sometimes help and confirm the diagnosis.

The mains fuse is not the one next to the motor. It sits inside the transformer casing. The edge connector inside the transformer casing can also oxidize badly.

Yes thats it just replaced that fuse and fantastic it works not sure if its the right fuse though its 250MV but works fine??
Thanks as usual for your help!
