Registering a Beocom 2 to a PSTN base

Hi,

This is my first post on the forum so I apologise if it is in the wrong section.

I have recently acquired a Beocom 2 phone, which came with a base that had two wires coming from it (one for power and one for telephone line connection). However, the plug on this base broke and I have had to purchase a new charging base for it. I have a PSTN base with a Beocom 6000 connected to it so I thought I would be able to link up the Beocom 2 in the same way I have done with the Beocom 6000, but I can't seem to find an option to register the phone to a base on the Beocom 2.

Is there a way to completely reset the phone and/or search for a base as I have been unable to find this option in the phones menu? Is it likely that the software on this phone needs to upgraded for it to be connected to another network?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
