Special thanks to Paul Brouwer in Holland and Jacques Frantz in France.
I had an inquiry from a customer in Holland, and I didn't want him to take the chance of shipping his BeoGram 4002 to me. Generally I accept overseas equipment only if the customer really knows how to pack, in order to prevent transit damage.
We agreed that he would send the machine to Paul, and Paul would send me the circuit boards for overhaul. Paul then did the mechanical maintenance and re-installed the overhauled circuit boards, then returned the machine to a very happy customer.
Thanks Paul!
Jacques helped me source some BeoGram 4000 unobtanium parts, from a seller in Paris who did not want to ship outside of France. Jacques received them, and forwarded them on to me, and did a packaging job which would be an example to all.
Thanks Jacques!
