I am trialling an 11-46 tomorrow for a few days, and in expectation of this yet inevitable and ridiculous expense i am thinking ahead a bit. Do you have to buy B&O active glasses or is there a more modest non B&O option.
Basically i'm not keen on spending 5 x £120 on something the "kids" will mainly get advantage from.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
Ask your dealer if you can borrow his 3D glasses? My dealer lent me a pair for a few days. I wasn't impressed at all though!
Personally, I wouldn't move from a MKII BV10-46 to a BV11-46. I'd hang around a bit and see what's coming soon. There are some big new changes to panel technology which could be only 6-12 months away if B&O are serious about releasing updated products, more quickly. Also, in hindsight, I wish I'd bought the BV11-55. The BV11-46, for more, minor picture improvements aside, is basically the same TV, albeit without my favourite orange fret :)
Chris Townsend: Better sound, slightly better picture, smart sound modes for night viewing. I'll see tomorrow.

What do you think of it, so far, Chris?
EDIT: ignore this, I noticed you've posted a thread on the BV11. Oops.
It might be because i"m Dutch but I am not too fond op spending 150 euro's on a set of glasses too . I am quite happy with the universal 3D glasses I bought of XPAND 3D. I bought them from Amazon Germany for est. 35 euro a piece.
