Swapping turntable lid on a BeoCenter 2200?

Hi all,

I have a couple of BeoCenter 2200 systems I got on eBay over the last couple of years. One works great but has a chunk of plastic missing from the turntable lid on the front, and a bit of broken "grille" on the top of the unit toward the back/right.

The other one is in great cosmetic condition, but doesn't work so well.

I'm hoping I can combine the two units to end up with one that both looks and works well, but neither one came with any manuals or documentation.

Would somebody be able to point me to a resource where I can see how to do this? Also, is this something do-able for a person like me who's never disassembled / reassembled a piece of electronics, or should I have somebody who knows what they're doing take care of this?
