Beogram CDX

hello!

 

i have a used beogram cdx, in the first time all was fine it works great with my beomatser 2400

 

but in the last time the motor of the cd player turns from the beginning i started the beogram. It takes no cd in this time, if i place a cd on the table the cd springs around...but the motor keeps running...i can do nothing, in the other day the motor stands still and the cd plays fine...

 

has anyone an idea what the problem is and how its solve?

 

sry for my bad english but im german.

Hi,

 

 

Mine had similar symptoms, and I had to repair the see-through solder joints to fix it. This is well documented, with most Philips machines from that era showing the same problem. These solder joints link one side of the PCB to the other (first PCB you will see when you open the machine).
