i have decided to use our B&O avant 32in with Video (one of the last built)
on the remote, It will come up showing TV when you place the batteries, When you press certain keys, It will show V MEM and sticks on this command, I have looked at the remote sensor with a Camera and there is no red light flicking, But will show red light when pressing certain keys on the Pad.
I have connected a Satellite receiver up to the TV and when i switch on the receiver you can hear a loud pitch noise, not very loud, but enough to notice the noise, I thought it might be the volume turned up on the TV, but i can adjust the volume via the Receiver.
Since the Remote is not working, I found that i have limited use of controlling the TV and cant adjust the Volume if i wanted to, Thinking about the high pitch noise.
I have to say, I have not used this TV since buying a 500a Kuro, and the picture on the Avant is perfect. why these are so cheap on The Net, I just don't know why!!! the flat screens are so boring.
If the remote needs a repair, Does anyone have a idea of cost and is it possible that you can input a code into a tevion 1-8 Remote that i have in the house.
