Hi Guys,
I just bought a second hand Beolab 2000 to use in my bathroom, connected to my Beocenter AV5 as a master.
Unfortunately I couldn't test it before buying since the seller didnt have any more B&O stuff, but convinced me it had been working well before. I also got a long Masterlink cable with it.
When I connect it to the mains and I get the little red dot confirming it has power.( if i press timer the other red dot lits up)
I have attached the Masterlink cable to the AV5 and to the BL2000. But I get no reaction whatsoever on the BL2000 when pressing any button on it. I disconnected both TV and BL from the mains and turned on again. Still same reaction...nothing happens on the BL2000 but confirming the power with the red dot.
There is a chance that the Masterlink Cable is not working. If that is the case, will there be no reaction on the BL 2000, not even a green light when turning it on?
Apart from OPT settings for the BEO4, is there any other settings I need to do? Any activation procedure on the AV5 ?
Any tips and tricks are welcome! :)
/Peter

Turns out it was a faulty Masterlink Cable...
