I have an old SP 6-7 75µ with a green line on the Black tip.

It have a printing, 75µ needle SP 6-7, but no B&O logo.

I have never seen copies / after market stylus looking like this.

Is it an original?

Welcome to beoworld !

No B&O logo = Not original.
There were many copycat producers of the round cartridges.
Some were actually quite good, others err... should maybe have found something else to copy.

However, there is a possibility.

Because these needles for the SP6/7 - original B&O needles had a color code and these needles could be incerted in a non original housing as Dillen explane.

If this is so, the needle / diamond could be original but the housing is not.

The only question: did any of the copycats also use the B&O dimond color coding?

Yes. but!!!!

I have only seen B&O logo on SP 6-7 15µ stylus.

I have two different. One with a steel look with the blue line on the Black tip. Tte other with an alu look without the blue line.

I know than B&O have changed design over the years.

Do any one have Pictures or data of the early ones?
