Dear all,

I have a BeoVision 7 with only one DVI port.  My set top box is currently connected to this DVI port via a HDMI converter cable.  Audio currently runs through AV4 (stereo RCA).

I am also looking to connect Apple TV using a HDMI converter and a optical audio converter.  My question is however, can I connect component video via AV 4 and pull in/select one of the digital audio inputs to come through on the one combo?  Any other ideas would be appreciated on how to get both working!

Kind regards,

David

Beovision 7 doesn't currently support digital 2-channel PCM. If the signal is Dolby Digital 5.1 you will get sound, but music, and pretty much everything else that isn't full 5.1 Dolby is unable to be processed by the on-board Digital Surround Sound Module.

Thats my opinion, if I understanded problem right.

Sorry I haven't been really clear.  I am really just wanting to know if I can connect a component video signal and mix that with one of the audio inputs that's not adjacent to the component video inputs, ie, can you tell the TV where you have connected each audio and video signal and ask it to match them up to one mode on the tv?

Thanks for your help to date...

Kind regards,

David
