Hi
Just bought a used beolab 3500 and everything works fine but I have to point the remote pretty direct towards the beolab 3500 to control it. Is the Beolab 3500 more sensitive (or is it less) than other products?
Brgds Mogens
If you have to put the Beolink 1000 or Beo4 very close to the Beolab 3500, then it means either the Beolab 3500 receiver is faulty or more likely there is something in the room such as a Plasma TV reducing the IR signal.
Regards Keith....
I don´t have to get close just have to point within 60 degrees.
Something obstructing? (Too obvious maybe) What about sun shining on the BL3500? Or a dirty IR glass?
Too long to list....
Where is the IR receiver placed on the beolab? Because some of the plastic is coming of on the "MUTE" bunion.
The plastic tends to come off the mute button after years of use and has no effect on the IR receiver which is located in the middle section to the left of the clock display.
