Hello,
My beloved 1987 Beocenter 9000 is getting sicker and sicker through these last months:
- No more sound through main speakers outputs. Auxiliary ones are OK, which make me think that amplifiers are stil working.
- Cassette deck: can read, but not wind/rewind/record, it seems to be a belt issue,
- CD player should have it's capacitors replaced (it still can read some CD).
- CD door does not open anymore.
- The backup battery is maybe out of order (I'm not sure about that).
I'm in France (Brittany) and have no skilled tech in my area to look around my poor sick unit.
On my side, I do not have the technical knowledge and skills to take the job, since I have the original service manual (thanks to Leslie).
Who can help me?
Any proposal will we greatly appreciated.
I go frequently to Belgium, UK is also an option... or somewhere else if I can find a way to send the unit (I have the original box).
Thanks by advance,
Yann.
