Hi,

B&O is changing, we already know. It's in a tranformation process as they say in this text.

Now they are asking a new head for intermediar with Customer Service, the R&D division and the consumer. B&O wants to listen to us. A good point I personally think.

Global Digital Marketing & CRM is a small team in our Global Marketing department. Here, you will be working in a truly innovative and dynamic setting - it can be hectic but the empowerment for each team member is extremely high.

Professionalise the social media platform in a strategic and hands-on position

As Head of Social Media, your key objectives will be to take our social media presence to the next level, build a strong online community and loyal fan base and strengthen analytics used for the on-going optimisation in social and other digital media.

One of your main responsibilities is to maintain and develop the social media strategy and execute upon it, including expanding our presence, beyond Facebook and Twitter. Another important task is to act as frontline brand representative by interacting with fans and customers in real time on the various platforms, answering questions, offering solutions and mediating conversations. This includes monitoring the conversations and activity, which may involve your presence online outside regular business hours.

Further, you discover, collect and write the “good stories” from Bang & Olufsen and share them within the communities. A smaller, but equally important part of your job is to deploy social media in marketing campaigns, in close dialogue with your colleagues in Global Marketing.

Get wide exposure in the entire organisation

In all aspects of this position, you will be establishing relations across the company. You work closely with Global Marketing and PR, with Customer Service in connection with customer inquiries, just as you get input from Product Development and form relations to our Sales and Retail Specialists.

Social Media experience & the ability to work towards short and long term goals

You possess a deep knowledge of the social media eco system

You have 5+ years’ experience in online communication/digital marketing, specially focusing on social media and analytics

You have excellent written communication skills – and journalistic capabilities

You know Google Analytics and have experience working with social CMS systems

Your English skills are at a very high level

A key challenge in this position is to balance working with the long term strategic goals versus working with short deadlines and issues that need immediate action. As a person, you thus thrive with variation, having both a strong sense of urgency and the ability to stay focused. Also, you manage to balance an analytical focus with a creative mind. And finally, you want to push boundaries – without crossing them – to take the social media agenda to the next level.
