Hi guys

I've been following this site for a few years now and you've always answered my questions about b&o before I've had a chance to ask them....

Until now

I've just bought a javelin s4 NAS drive with 2 1TB drives in it

When I select the NAS  I don't see any songs, artwork etc on the bs5 screen

The bs5 can see the drive unit but not the drives or folders

Any help greatly appreciated

Hi glennp,

I must admit that I do not know that specific NAS.

You must make sure that the mediaserver (DLNA) is enabled/activated and that it is set to look at the folder with your music files.

What do you mean by 'the bs5 can see the drive unit..."?

Greetings Millemissen

Thanks for the reply Millemissen

On the BS5 I can select the nas drive in the music storage option but when I go to N.MUSIC I don't see any music , cover art etc

On the NAS the DLNA is on and when I select it I sees the songs I have loaded on the drive

Cheers

 Glenn

Hi guys

I did a firmware update and now it seems to be working but .....

There's always a but

The artwork is not showing correctly I have both embedded artwork and artwork saved as folder.jpg and neither show

All I get is the same default icon for all albums

Any ideas what I should be checking

Thanks in advance

Please try "rebuliding the music server" on your NAS.

It might be called something else on your NAS.

It creates a new 'index' of the files to be used for DLNA players (such as the BS5).
