Hi!

I'm having a bit of a problem with my Beogram 1000. My old stylus was old and needed to be replaced, so that i did. But, my new stylus didn't have the ltitle rubber ring that's attached to the tube. See pictures below. And on my old stylus the rubber ring just crumbled when I removed it from the outer cap. Is this a problem? If so, what should I do to solve it?

Also, what I should mention is that the needle was sold to me as a being a SP 6/7 (didn't see no pictures of the item) but turned out to be a SP 2. Since they have different outer caps, I switched them and it sounds flawless. I didn't think Beogram 1000 was compatible with a SP 2 stylus, or are they? It seems to work great anyways. Bought it for 20 bucks in it's original B&O packaging so is no reason to return it..

It will work but the vertical tracking angle is wrong.

Thanks a lot for your answer! How will the wrong angle effect the playback? Will it damage the records? Anyways, will start looking for a new SP 6/7 replacement.
