Bang & Olufsen brings you even closer to the music you love by announcing ‘The Living Room Tour’ where Paul McCartney, our first featured artist, will share the inspiration and intentions behind his unique sound.
This exciting partnership comes from a shared belief that great music deserves to be heard as the artist intended. ‘The Living Room Tour’ will be presented along with the arrival of three striking new Bang & Olufsen products
... in your living room?
Maybe in a studio at the Abbey road in London ...
given the choice, would prefer my living room
Why are B&O getting involved with McCartney ?
He just seems a self indulgent throw back to me and judging from public responses to his appearances at the Olympics etc I don't understand what is to be gained in brand image for B&O or BeoPlay.

Agree entirely. A once talented musician who is long past his best. Always seems to have a high opinion of himself and professes knowledge in areas where he is really a complete ignoramus. I guess that's what fame does to you.

It does not (at all) matters if you like or dislike Paul McCartney.
He means a lot to quite a few people, even to youger people.
He will be the first in line for 'The Living Room Tour' events.
I am sure that there will be other artists that you or others like...or dislike.
Greetings Millemissen
There is a tv - and there is a BV

I wonder if he listens to his B&O in between listening to his JBL's. "I am the Ad Man goo goo g' joob"
It can't be any more miserables than Les Miserables. They seem to be trying to attract a new or younger generation, but it feels as if someone is reminiscing the 80's all the time.

I don't give a stuff about who they roll on to promote the new speakers, it will have zero effect on any purchase decision I may make. They'd do much better spending the money on promoting the speakers as the future, getting them on TV / in the press, publishing real reviews, - in short, selling the product on it's merits, advantages and performance.
Even if it were David Bowie himself it would still smack of some crappy false product placement/association exercise - why not sell it on what it does rather than who is willing to be photographed next to it or who will spout airy fairy nonsense about it for a (not inconsiderable) fee?
It reminds me of the series of interviews/movies they did on the website last year with arty folk - I'm sure the turtle neck brigade thought they were fantastic............... I suspect the vast majority of people never even watched them!
If this is indeed the start of a turn around of the product range then they should also seriously think about how they promote and sell these new product to the public - you'll notice there that I said the public, not the members of the Institute for oblique and obscure Marketing.
Ban boring signatures!
Take it easy boy, boy...
Get used to it, Puncher

.....watched wot ?
Whether you personally like him or not, he undoubtedly is one of the most, if not the most important and popular living icons in pop music today, and therefore not a bad guy to be representing your brand. And may I also say that, having recently seen him perform live, you can not help but be absolutely amazed by how fantastic he performs. At 71 years of age, he really hasn't lost much of his step and put on an incredible 2 1/2 hour show for a very diverse group of fans, both young and old. So after all of these years, still consistently giving back big time quality and commitment to all of his vast number of followers across the world, a brand image that I would think makes a lot of sense for B & O to tap into.
The production values of paul McCartney music are at best "pop" and therefore created to sound ok without specialist audio like classical . I doubt if any shops have his albums for people to appraise the sound quality of their products

Interesting that Evaristti seems to have a white painted panelled wall on which he has hung the TV and sculptures/ shelves with no regard for the positions of the panels. I think I would have either used the panels to dictate the layout, or alternatively, I would have covered the panelling with plasterboard to give a uniform surface.
Ossino seems to have no cabling to her floor standing Beovision: removed for the video making? Or perhaps the TV just isn't in that location on a day to day basis.
