Would be good if we do. I find it somewhat ironic that we're getting £3K speakers, but have to listen to compressed Spotify music and basic Dolby Digital Apple TV movie audio, on these speakers.

Little point spending nearly £10K on a new 5.1 setup, then listening to audio from your Apple TV. Not a patch on the uncompressed audio you get from a Blu-ray.

I suppose so. It's only logical to upgrade all streaming systems to 24bit now to match with the speakers.

Also I think the current wisa line is simply a softcore introduction as to what do come. Remember how the Beolab1s & Beolab5s a grand entrance into the product line showcasing a new technology? I think we are missing that from B&O. They need another publicity hit like ice power and the lenses. Perhaps finally with a Icepower upgrade into The Direct digital amplifier category? It only makes sense since new offerings now have digital inputs. Why no more breakthroughs from ice? Although direct digital runs a lot less efficient so maybe it can only be reserved for the high end.

i think B&O needs to shift away from boutique only sales and start selling through the common dealership chains to show shoppers what they are missing out on. TV and everything. I am sure B&O TVs will not lost out in side by side comparisons. How else will people be aware that B&O is known to make TVs ? There are the apple products to get the audio division some attention but what about the TVs?

To be very honest, I am not interested in anything but an upgraded playmaker with more current wifi and a design I actually like to put onto a shelf.

All I need is Airplay, otherwise I throw my funds rather at better speakers.

To be fair, that's all I use these days. Used to have a BS4 connected to BL3s and a BL11. Removed the BS4, bought a Playmaker, stream all my audio, radio and other content to the PM. If they brought out a better PM, I'd buy it immediately. Something that looked a bit better than a smoke alarm, basically!

No, no-one wanted it! Dealer had 3 pre-loved/ex-demo BS4s to shift.

I did manage to trade it in against the BV10-32, along with the outgoing BC6-23.

Two ways ...

-- MacMini -> BeoPort -> master link / Beolink Wireless -> Beolab speakers

OR

-- MacMini -> Apple TV -> BeoVision -> Beolab speakers

BeoNut since '75

How about a Playmaker with IWS build in?

What more would we need?

That would be great - surely they must be developing that one, it's a no-brainer? Although right now you could just connect a Playmaker to a PowerLink Wireless Trasmitter (the new WiSA thing) and technically get that exact product.

(I know, it's not a one box solution, looks like a smoke alarm etc!)
