A friend of mine with a large cd collection is considering a B&O cd player.

Her first choice would be a beocenter 2 dvd for its looks and added dvd use.

Any thoughts on this or another cd player other than the 9000 ?

Hi

I owned a 9000 mk3 and I have a beocenter 2 cd/dvd.

They are so different that it is very hard to compare. For me, it is a must have for any b&o lover.

Unfortunately, i had to sell my 9000 for buying a beosound 5/bm5 (i love it) and I have to sell my beocenter 2 because I have not enough place for it.

If he can afford a bs5/bm5 with cd ripper, there will be an update this month that transform the cd ripper in cd player too.

Best regards

Olivier

The BeoSound 3200 performs very well for the price they fetch now.  I'm not sure which DAC they use, but it's a lot clearer and sharper sounding than the 3000...
