Hi everyone
Just changed a cd laser head on a beosound 9000 and no difficultes there.
Now I am Working on another beosound 9000 but
The CD1 plays fine, then pressing CD2 it makes a rattling noise, but the sledge does not move, then the beosound shuts off.
The sledge is moving freely when unplugged from main.
Removed the black top panel and the wire seems perfectly in place as usual nothing different.
The owner told me that the CD mech has been changed by B&O (600.00 euros) and now something else going wrong (its getting costly he finds).
When checked at glance I just found the left window spring holder not in place. but everything else looks fine.
I have read some posts talking about cd sensors, did not find them, nor in the service manual
Anyone on this...
