Has anyone compared the sound of the speakers in the 32" and the 40" version.

Should one go for the 40" - because of ?better? sound - even if a 32" sized tv would be preferred for what it will be used for?

Hi, no doubt the sound is better in the 40"' due to the extra speaker for the low end, but I have the 32" and never find myself wishing I had gone for the 40". The sound on the 32" is very good. I don't use the V1 speaker for music though, I have 6000's for that (soon to be upgraded) but even when my other half has music on and she doesn't change the speaker group it still sounds pretty damn good.

hope this helps

Thanks - it does Smile

The 40" will be too big for that room - I think.

But I want good sound untill I'll have a couple of BL's to connect.

Seems like I don't have to worry.

I watch the tv most evenings just using the V1 speaker, as I have a young daughter, so I know that is good. I just put Spotify on using V1 speaker only and it is very good, no doubting it. This is my first B&O tv and I am very impressed.

By the way - having Spotify on board is just great. I had suggested this to my dealer when I bought it earlier this year, so was very pleased with that free software upgrade!!
