Hi BeoWorld,
I have a BV10 in my Beolink setup. My Apple TV is connected to the BV10 with HDMI.
In my Beolink setup I also have a BC1 (old, old TV with DVD and Radio).
I would like to use the Radio source in the BC1 all over the house + also use the ATV on the BV10.
But I cannot get my BV10 to respond or use the radio source neither can I get the BC1 or the other source on the Masterlink setup to use the ATV source on BV10.
Somehow the "Radio" source on the BV10 is also disabled.
So:

Hej Morten,
1. RADIO is not disabled in your BV10. Set your BV to V.OPT 2 and it should respond to audiosources as well as to video sources.
But as your BV10 acts as a videomaster, you should set your BC1 (2nd TV) to LINK-TV mode V.OPT 6. Sources in link products act as local sources, means these sources can`t be distributed via Masterlink.
2. RADIO won`t work, I`m afraid (see 1.). BTW my BC6 also has a RADIO source which acts as a local source only and can`t be selected via Masterlink.
Not sure about BC1 though... ATV picture and sound can be distributed by Masterlink and RF if your ATV is connected to the videomaster (BV10) via Scart - analogue picture and sound. Connect your BV10 and BC1 with an antenna cable.
3. BV10 V.OPT 2 (videomaster) , BC1 V.OPT 6 (Link-TV).
Hope this helps.
Stefan
Hi Stefan,
Thanks a lot :)
I'll give it a try to night.
BTW: Nice profile picture. From "Gården" in B&O HQ Struer, right?
mshvid: BTW: Nice profile picture. From "Gården" in B&O HQ Struer, right?
Thanks, and yes, right - my kids and me in Struer...
Damn. Nothing of the suggested works :(
When the BC1 is set to option 6 it non of my other Beolink products respond to any sources.
If set to option 2 the sources respond - but not on the BV10...
And even if I remove the MasterLink cable from BV10 the "Radio" option is disabled.
Can anyone tell me what to do?
Hi Morten,
if you would give the Radio (of the BC1) the priority, you could put your BC1 in Option 2 (as Master) and the BV10 in option 6 (as Link-tv).
But then you would not be able to hear (or see) the ATV, which is on the BV10 in the Linkroom (BC1).
But you could add a second ATV to the BC1.
The ATV has only HDMI-output and the BC1 only Scart, but there are adapters that do the job.
I have this one on an old Avant:
http://www.amazon.de/Ligawo-®-Scart-Konverter-Unterstützung/dp/B008U7MRFG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1383651974&sr=8-1&keywords=hdmi+to+scart
It works well, but you shouldn't expect to much - on the other hand the BC1 is a CTR. It should be ok.
It might even be possible to load a PUC for Apple into the BC1 - ask a skilled dealer for that.
If you just want to listen to music, you won't need the PUC - just push 'AV' and the command of the applied scart-port.
Of cource you won't be able to listen to the same music in both rooms simultaneously (unless you AirPlay from iTunes or AirFoil).
If your priority is the ATV-box, you would have to add some kind of radio-tuner to your BV10. Either an older BeoMaster or a tuner like this:
http://shop.oneremote.dk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=20_21&products_id=3451
And the option-programming would be BV10 - Option 2 / BC1 - Option 6.
You can not have both - there can only be one (Video-)Master in a ML-setup!
Note: the Radio-option on the BV10 refers to the radiofunction via cable-tv.
You probably are on one of the big DK-cable-nets??
So concidering this: why not just use this for Radio on the BV10 and the UKW-radio in the BC1 as it is.(as Linkk-tv)?
P.S. Saw your above post after writing this one:
"If set to option 2 the sources respond - but not on the BV10..."
Does that mean that you can't hear the Radio of the BC1 through the BV10?
Have you tried 'Link-Radio' as command?
Greetings Millemissen (145 miles from Struer)
There is a tv - and there is a BV
I just had a look into the BC1 service manual.
If your BC1 is equipped with the (optional) ML module, it should detect V.OPT 0, 1, 2, 5, 6. And it should be controled via Beo4 - the earlier BC1 were standalone products with Beo1.
Set the whole system to standby mode. ML connected. Set your BC1 to V.OPT 6 - red standby light should flash once while programming.
Now set your BV10 to V.OPT 2 (master) .BV10 should also flash.
Now activate your BC1 by pressing LINK - TV. BC1 should start in TV mode AND BV10 too...
To get ound/picture frm your videomaster on BC1 you have to connect RF out of BV10 with Antenna in of your BC1. Now search for the link frequency (see manuals). Now it will be possible to control and watch/listen to sources connected to your BV10 via your BC1. NB: only analogue (Scart) connected sources will be distributed via coax. HDMI sources can`t be distributed. But you can connect a splitter/converter to your ATV.
You can control option settings in service menus of your BVs. Press MENU - 0 - 0 - GO -> MONITOR -> MONITOR INFORMATION.
IF there are any Masterlink errors, it will also be displayed in this menu.
Be careful with service menu - don`t change any values....
Your picture displays the PUC menu of your BV10, right? This is not the RADIO you want, as said before, it is NOT possible to control local sources via Beolink.
Hi,
Thank you all, for all you reply.
I think I'll give the HDMI/Scart converter a try with my 1. gen ATV.And maybe buy another ATV for my BV10 to get HD.
Then I'll put my BV10 in opt 10 and BC1 in opt 2.
Actually I tried to use the above option. Now I'm able to control the radio - switch cannels - but I have no sound.
Isn't the "sound" using the Masterlink cable?
Maybe it time for me to hire a B&O expert from my local store :/
Thank you all, for all you reply. Appreciate!
I'll check the monitor information to see if anything is ok. It a bit odd that I can control my radio source on the BC1 through my BV10 but not hearing the sound.
