Loss of vocals PS3

Today I put on a BluRay in which we have played before, and the vocals almost disappear. When you have been swimming and your ears get water in them, that sort of effect.

Everything else is fine, just the vocals. Tried the audio settings after a google search(Bitrate to Linear PCM) etc

Games work fine.

Any ideas?

Thats a strange on! I take it vocals are fine on other sources - have you tried other discs?

Try setting the sound settings on the PS3 so that it only outputs in stereo?

Everything apart from the vocals on a BluRay works fine. Was ok last night.

Have tried all the various settings. It's just the speech and it's very faint and blurred. Really odd.
