Hi:

I purchased one of these spares and repairs and got it working. Unfortunatley, all of my other B&O gear along with the multitude of Beo 4s that I have are in storage thus I cannot do anything other than turn it on and watch static.

Does anyone know if there is any way of operating it other than by using a remote - I understand there is an Android app available but it seems this uses wifi and is thus not for legacy equipment without wifi capabilities.

Thanks

Graham

PS How much roughly would I be looking to pay for the Ouverture inspired CD unit that was sold with this TV?

You could watch a VHS via the inbuilt video player!

The MPAV9000 unit (Ouverture like) sells for relatively little as it can only really be used fully with the AV9000 TV.  I've seen them go for 100€ upwards - usually needing new belts for the tape player.

Dave.

Hi:

I now have a problem with the system - I had it connected in an inconvinient place so disconnected, moved and re-setup. Now it will not come out of standby - sometimes it will deguass othertimes not and the red led on the top corner of the TV turns from red quickly to green and then back again with no attempt to turn the TV on or turn the stand.

The VHS system does appear to be functional and it appears to be an issue with the TV itself.

Ideas?

Hi Graham.

What is the history of the TV? Was it part of a system or standalone?

Does it have PIN protection and has it been disconnected from the mains for a period, in which case you will only get limited attempts at inputting the PIN, after which the TV will go into a WAIT mode of several hours (if it is like the Avant. I do not have first hand knowledge of the 9000!)

I would think that you really need to use the Beo4 to make any progress.

Both Grahams, AV9000 does not have pincode...

If you lived in the Netherlands you could have mine for free :-)
