Beovision 8 questions

Hi

I have just bought a beovision 8-32 to replace my avant and have a couple of questions

My DVD (Sony) is connected via Scart but I have to keep changing the format to 3, is there a way of setting the default to 3? Apple TV works fine through hdmi. Looked in the user and service menses but can't find anything.

Also there is a way of disabling digital tv board through a menu as I want to be able to use the sat button for Apple tv

I don't know if this is related but Scart leads can give some issues due to pin8 - see this thread:

Hi, thanks for the fast reply, it's not connected via BNC from the DVD to Scart as there is only hdmi and BNC connectors on the back of the DVD. The odd thing is that on my beovision 6 which so linked in it automatically selects the right format and the avant did too

You could check your WSS setting in the servicemenu.
