Hi,

my cable TV provider has changed their services and are now sending me TV over LAN instead of Coaxial cables. This means that I now need to have a set top box (before I could just plug the cable TV cable into my TV).

As I do not have a Beovision, I cannot use the PUC xmls that are available in the Beo5 tool so I was wondering if anyone has an .xml file for a Motorola set top box with the commands in RAW etc.?

Would really appreciate some help!

Best regards,

Martin

My B&O products: Beosound 9000, Beosound 2300, Beosound Century, Beolab 8000, Beolab 6000, Beolab 4000 x2, Beolab 3500, Beolab 2000, Beolab 10, Beolink Active x2, Beotime, Beo5 x2, Beo4, A9 keyring x2, LC2 dimmer x6 and growing....

Hi Keith,

the model name is Motorola VIP 1903 (as I stated in the header Wink).

It is available in the PUC sources but these .xmls naturally contain Beo IR commands and as I do not have a Beovision I need the Motorola IR codes.

Would appreciate your help.

Best regards,

Martin

Apologies for missing the title of your thread, I must not have been fully awake last night.

This Motorola box uses a 36 bit protocol called Zaptor with a carrier Frequency of 36Khz

I have constructed an XML file which should work and the hard keys and digits are pre-assigned, so it is just drag-n-drop

Works like a charm!

Thanks for the help, now I just need to find discrete commands for HDM1 and HDMI2 for my Panasonic Plasma (VIera TX-P50VT50).

Best regards,

Martin
