Beogram 2000 lift and return problem

The turntable works perfectly except from the end of record detection. Sometimes the tonearm lifts and returns before the record has reached its end and sometimes the record and but the tonearm does not lift and returns (it has not detected that its the end) it never gets it correctly :s any suggestions on how to fix this?

download the service manual to adjust the arm lift

Clean and lubricate mechanism, clean switches (Deoxit) test lift off. If the lift off is still wrong adjust.
