Does anybody have experience with connecting a NAD T187 preamp by using the SPDIF out to the SPDIF in on the BL5? In case, is this a set up you can recommend? What wiring do you have between the T187 and the BL5? Just SPDIF connection or do you have to have the +12v triggers connected through a transformer to the 5v trigger input on the BL5?

I have read somewhere on the forum that the BL5 will not play anything that is not a plain digital stereo signal - e.g. that it wont play anything if the signal is a digital surround signal from a DVD-player. Can this be confirmed?

Can anyone else recommend a good alternative preamp processor to go with the BL5?

Thanks!
