BS5 Encore & Spotify?

Does spotify work with the BS5 Encore?. I know it now does with BS5 but not sure about the Encore version

No, and it never will.  Encore is end of life.

Thanks. Why did they discontinue the Encore? With Spotify it would definitely been more attractive at a lesser price point.

 

On another matter is it possible to use the Encore as a satellite unit feeding off an existing BS5/BM5 in a different room, i.e. both using the same Beomaster 5 as the media drive.
