Hi, I currently have a BeoCentre 6-26 HD + BeoLab 2 (2007) and am considering changing both for a BeoVision 7-32 Mk2 with Freeview module and 7.1 speaker.

Could anybody let me know will I see an improvement on the display? Currently i've a standard Sky box connected by a high quality scart cable and a MacMini connected via high quality cables for HD content. I'm aiming to keep the same connections.

Thanks in advance, Andrew.

In my personal opinion, due to the BeoCenter 6 having a smaller screen - I think you'll get a better image on the BeoCenter 6 HD.

I've also never really been blown away by the BV7-32 Mk1 and Mk2.  The Mk3 was a lot better.

I agree. My BV7-32 wasn't even good, never mind great. I had a BC6 in the past and was impressed with the screen, the build and the TV.

Have you considered a BV10-32 (if you can find one)? You get a great TV, superb picture (arguably my BV10-32 Jan 2013 model has a better picture than my BV11) and you get Freeview HD built in to the set.

A Beoplay V1-32 sold on EBay yesterday for £900. I got my 8-32 from a dealer last week for under £300. And they had 2.

Dont limit your search, even though I think the 6-26 is one of the nicest TVs ever made.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

That is one of the things that amazed me, the resolution is no better on the 32 than the 26. Which I find odd. I'm not really a fan of the styling of the BoeVision 8, to be honest the current crop of B&O tv's would look a little odd in my house, imho.

My problem is the 26 is just a little small, my computer has a bigger screen.!! Hence looking at the 32.

Are there problems with the build quality??

Does anybody know where I could get the official spec sheets for both the 7-32 Mk2 and Mk3?

All the ones I can find online are conflicting. One site saying a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and another saying 1200:1 for the Mk3. My current 6-26 has a ratio of 800:1 and from what I can see the 7-32 Mk2 has a ratio of 1000:1. Will I notice that difference on the Mk2?
