Our new BeoLab 4's (Power Link version) arrived from the dealer in North Carolina about a week ago.
The labels on the frets are upside down when the speakers sit on a table. This is fine with us, as we purchased the ceiling mounts and the speakers will live upside down (like vampires), hanging from the ceiling; and therefore, the labels will stand correctly.
Nonetheless, this seems odd. Are there different covers for these speakers depending on how one places them? As I type this, I see the website does offer as accessories: "cover" and "cover, ceiling."
We have requested dark gray covers, but are told the product is discontinued in the U.S. Which raises an interesting question: when a product is discontinued, does B&O discontinue vital replacement parts such as frets?
Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there

Normally B&O keeps spare parts/replacement parts in stock 10 years after a product is discontinued.
Yes, thank you. An order was placed today for dark gray frets, ceiling option, and it is expected to arrive directly "from the factory" in a week's time.
Whether this "factory" is located in Czechia, it remains to be seen.
