Hello all,

my beosound cd ripper that used to work perfectly, has, in the last 3 weeks, decided to rip the cd, get the track data but not get any artwork. The last 3 or 4 CDs I've ripped have got everything but the artwork! Any ideas?

thanks

Dear Wortonmiller,

What you said is only a part of the problems I have had ripping all my CD's.

I also replaced that device (in guarantee, of course), 'cause it suddenly stop working and there was no way to extract the CD inside.

When even the second ripper was broken, I decided to not replace anymore it, and since them I am ripping the CD's with Windows Media Player, that is more quick and accurate.

Infact I realized that the track titles and album titles were full of errors, to correct manually.

Don't worry if the BS5 does not always find the artworks; it's sufficient search with google the title of the album and it will find the artwork in more resolutions.

On this issue, I do report to you what my reseller told me when I purchased the BS5: to choose artworks with resolution up to 500x500 pixels.

The BS5 works properly even with higher resolutions artworks, but if you want to command the BS5 with a mobile phone or tablet using the Beolink app, you will wait so long time while the device is carging the artworks......

see you!
