I usually manages my mp3 collection by manually mounting the BM-SHARE$ directory in Finder, but lately I tried to copy files through the BeoConnect application for Mac.
What I noticed was that BeoConnect created an folder named Mac in the \\BM-SHARE$\Music folder and placed the mp3 files that where copied by the app in a (in my view) correct folder structure. However, this breaks my previous folder structure and when I tried to move the files (and delete the "Mac" folder) I get an "Access denied" message.
The latter file manipulation was made through the "old" mount BM-SHARE$ way.
So my questions are:How do I remove my "Mac" folder created by the BeoConnect app and how do I move (or delete) the mp3 files who are placed there of the same app?
Hello!I just can tell you my own experience: everything working fine till I got "Mavericks"; there is a programm calles "itunes droper" which - I think - prevents the connection of your Mac and the BM5; within "security" and (I think) "programm" you can find itunes droper and beoconnect - give the permission that they are "allowed to control your mac" and it should work as before.Best Regards
Elmar
I'll try it out when I'm home from work. Big thanks!
