Perhaps he is selling them for an elderly relative and they worked perfectly before being put into dry storage, unfortunatley he has no speakers to test them with, but no reason why they should not work.....

Some of things people say on ebay really does make you laugh - perhaps we should have a hall of shame forum?

I wouldn't buy them without testing them first, should I ask if he has a drill or bring my own ?

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
