Beosystem 4500 problem

Hi! My  Beomaster 4500 keeps switching on spontaneously to CD mode. It  happens all the time when it is off, when it is playing a tape or phono mode. Any thoughts? I've tried to hide the remote in case it is sending IR beam, switch the whole  beosystem off but unsuccesfully

Problem sorted! I left the Beosystem switched off  for 12 hours and now  works perfectly  again.

What a mistery!
