Hi Guys,

Can anyone suggest a good DAC to use from my PC Via USB to connect to a pair of BeoLab 3's.

Thanks

Depends on how much you want to invest, and whether it should be a 'USB-DAC only'?

here

here

and here

And of cource you'll need some adapter cables.

Ok, if you want to spend the money - I wouldn't!, but it is your choice.

I'm not that convinced of the upsampling technology of the Asus.

Personally since a couple of years I use the Nuforce u1 with a set of active speakers on my desktop MacMini.

If I should buy a new one, I'd probably go for the newer u2 (or the u3) or the Audioengine D1.

Much more important with your BL3's than an 'over-expensive' DAC is, what you intent to play back (lossy or losless files in 'red book' or 'high res' resolution),

and how you will play them (which player/which audio driver...).

I would say the 3, I mentioned above, are pretty good - at least for a start.
