Anyone know if a pair of wireless ones can be used in the same room as the system without employing an IR eye.

For example BS3000 in a large room with BL8000 and no speaker cables from the 3000 to the 8000's.

Sorry, but No you can see wireless1 as a beolink Active cut in 2 parts masterlink in one and powerlink in the other so you need ir Eye to turn on your bl8000

When set to a fixed channel the Wireless 1 is as excellent and reliable as ML. The problem is very few people have it set to fixed channel. It's not the greatest for use with MLGW as well it can't be given a network address.

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there

How do you set it to fixed channel?

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus. Sad

By using the service tool and master link jig. Your local dealer can supply you if he feels up to it or you can have a tech come out and do it for you.
