Hi,
I have a faulty VAU1255/21 laser from a BeoSound 3200.
Do you think it is a good idea to replace the laser pickup with one of these from ebay?

Any experiences on that?
Thank you

Since these lasers are cheap I decided to give it a try and bought one from ebay for around 15 EUR:

After installing it in the Beosound 3200 the CDs play again flawlessly. The new laser looks exactly like the one on the Beosound 3200 but I would say it is not new because the big metal plate is not as shiny and clean as mine. In the picture you can see the new laser already installed. Anyways the bousound works perfectly fine now.
So in summary I'm going to buy a few more just in case I need them. I currently have a Beosound 9000 and two 3200 that will be with me until I die.
I did use these, they look brand new and works with no problems.
blah-blah and photographs as needed
