This might be a silly question, you are warned.

My right speaker (one of two BL 6000) is further from the TV than the left one (+ ~1m to the listening position). The difference is noticeable.

I have seen that there are two settings in the TV which can be altered: the individual volume of the speaker and the distance.

What is the right way to proceed? I have set the proper distances  but it is not enough. Should I raise the Right volume or decrease the Left one? Or for some reason changing the distances alone should have fixed the issue?

The distance affects the timing of the audio signal, but not the level. You should use a signal level meter to make the volume level adjustment.
